Service Overview
Doctors24 provides ICU-at-home services, which include critical care facilities, trained medical professionals, and advanced medical equipment for patients requiring intensive care in the comfort of their homes.
Eligibility
- Our services are available to individuals aged 18 or older.
- The patient’s condition must be reviewed and approved by our medical team to ensure suitability for ICU-at-home care.
Scope of Services
Doctors24 provides:
- Qualified healthcare professionals (e.g., doctors, nurses, paramedics).
- ICU equipment, including ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, and oxygen supply.
- 24/7 monitoring and support.
- Emergency response services, if required.
Note: Our services do not replace hospital care in critical situations. If hospital admission is deemed necessary, the patient must be transferred immediately.
Responsibilities of the Patient/Family
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for setting up the ICU equipment.
- Provide accurate medical history and ongoing updates to the healthcare team.
- Follow all medical instructions provided by our team.
- Maintain respectful communication with our staff.
Payment Terms
- A detailed cost estimate will be provided before the initiation of services.
- Full or partial payment must be made in advance, as per the agreement.
- Additional charges may apply for extended care, emergency services, or consumables.
- Payments are non-refundable once the service is initiated unless otherwise agreed.
Confidentiality
Doctors24 adheres to strict confidentiality protocols. All personal and medical information will be handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Limitations of Liability
Doctors24 strives to deliver high-quality care; however, we are not liable for:
- Outcomes arising from pre-existing conditions or inaccurate medical information.
- Delays caused by external factors, such as emergencies or natural calamities.
- Complications that require hospitalization.
Doctors24 will not be held responsible for equipment failure due to misuse or tampering by the patient or their family.
Termination of Services
Doctors24 reserves the right to terminate services in the following scenarios:
- Non-payment of dues.
- Non-cooperation from the patient or family.
- Unsafe or unhygienic conditions at the premises.
- If the patient’s condition is deemed unmanageable at home by our medical team.
Indemnity
The patient and/or their family agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doctors24, its staff, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the use of our services.
Amendments
Doctors24 reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Updated terms will be communicated via our official website or email.
